Dog Days of Summer!

The Quilting Bee’s owner, Suzanne Bednarchik, sewed and quilted this original design, created by her niece Caroline when she was a little girl. Suzanne wanted to involve Caroline in the process of selecting fabric, so they went shopping together. Young Caroline chose a gorgeous assortment of aqua and purple fabrics. Then life happened and time flew by. Fast forward to present times, when Suzanne pulled this UFO (unfinished object) out of the closet, so she could surprise Caroline with the quilt before her last year of college. Together, Suzanne and Caroline chose the border, backings, binding, and quilting pattern, and got the final product to the finish line! The quilt will be displayed in our shop window, until it heads down to Columbus in a couple of weeks. What UFOs are YOU working on? Enjoy, and have fun! |
